HOPE

I chose the name Hope Counseling because I desire to help you live a life filled with hope in God, yourself, others in your life and your circumstances. Hope is a confident anticipation of good. I invite you to a journey of hope that will empower you to see another future. I will help you to move from a negative frame of reference to positive, whether it be living as a victim to being one who overcomes, being sad to joyful, frustrated to fulfilled, bitter to thankful so that you can look to the future with hopeful anticipation. I will see you through God’s eyes of love, knowing that He has great plans and a future filled with hope for you!
As your counselor I aim to understand you and your personal experience and want to develop a collaborative relationship with you. Together we can examine present difficulties and the ways past experiences contribute to them. I believe your past is important in the way it influences the present. In order to learn hope we must have the belief that love and kindness exist in relationship with others who desire to be there for you.
